Connecting to TunnelBear step by step

It only takes a few seconds to connect to TunnelBear. Here is how:

1. Launch the TunnelBear app on your device.
2. Log in, or sign up for a free account if you do not have one yet.
3. Pick a country on the map or in the country list, and the tunnel connects on its own.
4. A bear animation and a green status light tell you that you are protected.

Switching countries

To change your virtual location, tap a different country on the map or choose one from the list. TunnelBear reconnects within seconds.

Disconnecting

Flip the switch at the top of the app to disconnect. Your traffic goes back to your ordinary connection right away.
