Signing up for a TunnelBear account

Signing up for TunnelBear costs nothing and takes less than a minute. The free plan does not ask for a credit card.

1. Open the TunnelBear app after downloading it, or go to the TunnelBear website.
2. Tap or click Create Account.
3. Type in your email address and set a strong password.
4. Look for the confirmation email in your inbox and follow the verification link.
5. That is it! Connect to any country and browse in private.

Free vs Unlimited

On the free plan you get 500 MB of data each month, which suits light browsing. Move up to Unlimited to get unrestricted data on every device you own, with no cap on the number of devices.
